Breaking news… Calling All Students

1.

Sponsored Walk for all students attending Focus School Plymouth Campus this coming Saturday, to raise money for ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’ – Target £3000.

Please come and join us for a beautiful walk along the Granite Way from Meldon Viaduct to Lake Viaduct and back this coming Saturday 21st February.  This 7 mile stretch features some breath-taking views of Meldon Resevoir, Sourton Tors and of course, the wild open moorland itself.

Basing ourselves at the local Meldon Village Hall, the day will run from 10:00am until 2:00pm with food and drink being provided for all present, along with First Aiders and Marshalls to ensure that your walk is safe, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.

Remember; this walk is to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support – an extremely worthy cause.  More details about sponsorships/directions etc. will follow soon.

IF YOU INTEND TO COME PLEASE CONFIRM BY RESPONDING BY TONIGHT TO dean.scott@oakdenetrading.co.uk.

Although the walk is specifically for students at Focus School Plymouth Campus, all parents, family and friends are invited.  Transport to the venue can be provided for anyone who requires it – please request this when informing us of your desire to come. It is still winter so please bring a waterproof coat.  Walking boots are recommended but not essential as the path is tarmac most of the way.

Thanking you in anticipation!

Patrick Buckley
