Living Our Beliefs – Rapid Relief Team

The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation that provides benevolent relief to local communities in times of need.

In emergency situations RRT aims to offer on-site assistance within 2 hours. Supporting both emergency services and the public, our volunteers are dedicated to providing compassionate, friendly and effective help. RRT members are part of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC).

The Rapid Relief Team works with local communities in the UK and internationally around two key areas:

  • Proactive – This is prominently what we do. We actively look for opportunities to help people in need.
  • Reactive – When disaster strikes, our teams are at ready at a moment’s notice to provide support.

In this short documentary you will see examples of just a few of the many events that the RRT have assisted at in the UK, and indeed worldwide.

The RRT is the perfect vehicle for the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church to express to humanity, Christian Biblical principles of care and compassion, by way of benevolent relief to people in need.

The core values of RRT are summed up in three words: Community | Compassion | Support

Great work of the RRT. As a member in Stow (UK) it’s good to consider the hard work of the RRT and carry forward the good spirit of Christianity. Keep up the hard work!! 🙂 🙂

It is excellent to see this video of what went on at the Glasgow Helicopter crash. This was a huge tragedy affecting so many persons. It was our privilege to be there helping the emergency services in all that they did for those 3 days. Thanks for putting this on and giving us an insight into what the RRT have done and still do.

That emphasis on keeping the spirits up is the best bit. God loveth a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9 v7 KJV.

And?. Let’s keep this blog relevant and to the point that the article is directed. Let us respect the sheer hard work and giving that the RRT extends to others instead of making irrelevant remarks out of line with the spirit of the post above. Thanks.

    Congratulations RRT!
Just to be positive. The new layout is great, a lot less cramped and allows for larger images!!

  8. Rick says:

I agree, the new layout is far too difficult to read, and is a pain to try to work around, to look at posts etc. If you ould fix it up, it would be great.

  9. tenn says:

don’t really like the new format.
pictures on the front are alright. but the old blog format was way better. looked neater, was easier to read and use, and this one is dreadful for navigating between different posts.

I THINK IT IS VERY, VERY EASY TO READ ITS AWSOME
