Nigerian church uplifted with free bibles

As part of its ever-increasing part in supplying free bibles and gospel literature to advance the Word of God, the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church recently teamed up with the Souls Redemption Ministry Church in Effurun, Delta State, Nigeria to provide them with additional bibles to enhance their vibrant church community.

Mr. Charles Oparocha, an active member of the Souls Redemptions Ministry Church had previously emigrated from Nigeria to the UK, and had worked in London for a PBCC business owner for a number of years to raise funds to allow his children to gain a university education.  In 2010 he moved back to Nigeria to further support his children’s education and to pursue his own fish farm business where he breeds catfish.   It was through Mr Oparocha that the PBCC were able to effectively distribute the free bibles to the community.

This exciting programme not only provided an eye-opening insight into the challenges that humanity face in other countries around the globe, but also how their dedication and commitment to their Christian values and beliefs, and enjoyment of their church life, unite them into a close-knit and caring community.

The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church are committed to continuing this vital work in advancing Christianity for all Mankind by reaching out to many other organisations around the world to make the bible and gospel literature freely available.

Wonderful to see the Word of God appreciated – I wish the lawmakers in the UK would take more notice of the Holy Scriptures.
Keep distributing Bibles PBCC – they are sorely needed all over the world. The time is short.

Lovely to see others listening to the words of the bible, especially the little children. I always wondered what a catfish looked like!

This is absolutely amazing! Some of these distant countries make bibles very hard to obtain, so to think that a community in a country like that can have access to the word of God, and be gripped by it, is simply thrilling! I wonder if the people in that church can read? If not, they’ve definitely got the best book to learn from in their hands!
