Plymouth Brethren Provide French Gospel Literature and Audio Bible to remote African Villages

Patrick Mballa is the founder of the Mosame Trust (www.mosame.org) which has been set up to support and provide foster care, education and training to orphans in East Cameroon. They are working with the churches and other organisations in Bambouti to empower the wider community to help the widows and abandoned children by promoting micro businesses, healthcare and schooling.

The villages they are supporting are Bambouti and the surrounding area. It is 100km from Bertoua, the regional town. Bambouti is where Patrick’s Grandfather was the village chief. Patrick lived in Bertoua until age 15.

He writes; The charity Mosame Trust is very grateful for your generous gifts of the Gospel literature and prayers over the past years. We are committed to proclaim the Good Tidings and providing practical help to the poor villagers across the eastern region of Cameroon. Every year I was able to take with me some Gospel tracts and literature in French, you also helped in purchasing the first USB French Bible to start the Bible School in Cameroon.

For the past 2 years we have seen an increasing number of young people coming to know the Lord as their God and Saviour, and a massive number of conversions from Islam. Many people in the villages can’t afford to purchase a Bible, and the Gospel literature has been their main source of introduction and connection to the transforming life of the Living God.

We thank you very much for your contribution to this awakening, and hope we could continue to work together in the future to save many more lives.”
