1.3 MILLION TONNES OF WATER IS BEING PUMPED EACH DAY IN AN ATTEMPT TO REDUCE WATER LEVELS IN FLOODED SOMERSET.

These small communities situated alongside the tidal River Parrett have endured weeks of anxiety watching the levels rise and experiencing hardship and loss. Some of the farming community have suffered thousands of pounds worth of damage and loss of earnings due to the extreme weather in recent weeks.
